| I haven't been on xanga in forever! I finally logged on today for the first time in I can't even remember how long and looked at all my old xanga friends' sites...looks like almost everybody else stopped posting, too. I pretty much use just facebook now, so look me up on there if you have one.

| Well, Jordan is officially an entrepreneur now! This has been a long-time dream of his, and we’re so excited that it’s finally happened. He’s done work on the side for his company, Helios Studios, for quite a while now, and now he’s taken it full time. We didn’t think it was going to happen quite so fast, but God definitely surprised us and we couldn’t be happier about it! Jordan is loving being his own boss, and I love seeing him do something that he’s really passionate about! Something I have always loved and admired about him is his work ethic and how he’ll always go after what he really wants instead of making excuses about why he can’t do it...I am so proud of him! OK, enough mushy stuff. I’ve spent the last several days sick with the flu and then some lovely stomach virus. I went to the doctor yesterday and got some nausea medicine, Phenergan (or something like that). Oh my word, I have never been so incoherent in all my life. Seriously, I could NOT wake up after taking that stuff. On the side of the bottle it said "may cause drowsiness"...ok, that should be more like "may cause you to sink into a coma". It was kind of nice though, and I got a ton of sleep so I’m finally feeling better today. We’re leaving in less than a week to go on vacation up north! I can’t wait to see my family and friends again, so yay for that! I haven’t been up for a long visit for almost 3 years now, so I’m really looking forward to it. Maybe I’ll come back with tons of pictures, and inspired to blog more than once a month...maybe... | | |
| Yay...Jordan finally got a laptop! Now I can be super lazy and lay on the couch and in bed and email people....yessss! Like right now, I'm watching VH1's Fabulous Life of Billionaire Heiresses and xangaing (is that a word) right here on the couch. I realize pretty much everyone already has a laptop, and is probably thinking, "welcome to 2007", but let me enjoy myself. :) So, there's like 2 people who still actually post on xanga, which is kind of sad because I really like reading people's blogs when I'm bored at work. I think xanga is pretty much being passed over for facebook and myspace. Sadness....but I do really like facebook. :) Hmmm...what's new... Not much is new with me I guess. Jordan has been doing a lot of work for Helios Studios (his side business) lately, so that's been pretty neat. He's been super busy, but has been loving it. Spring is coming in Texas I think. This week it's been so pretty out, except for a little bit of rain. I guess next week it might be snowing again, but I've really been enjoying this weather, and so has Wiley. He's been so happy whenever he's outside lately. It's so cute to see him prancing around. It'll be so neat when we have a yard he can run around in...I think he'll really enjoy that. Ok, so this is the most pointless entry ever, but I need to get out of here and take Wiley outside. | | |
| As you all probably know, one of my great joys in life is making our pets look as ridiculous as possible. Don't ask me why, it's just funny. Here's Wilers, all ready for Christmas!! Now there's the face of a dog who has lost all self respect.
But Wiley still loves his mommy...
...and his daddy!
Jovi might not love Wiley, but she does love his tail.
And Fatness would like to proudly display that he's lost 2 pounds!! What? You can't tell??
OK, this picture is even more random than the rest, but it's funny. Wiley has a little bit of separation anxiety, so the Greyhound Adoption League told us to try to leave him out of his crate while we're gone with his muzzle on so he doesn't get into trouble. We also tied little socks on him so he wouldn't try to scratch anything up. He looked ridiculous...I love it!
And lastly, here's our Christmas tree...fun times!
My parents are coming for Christmas this year...I'm so excited! I haven't seen them since May, so yayyy for seeing them again! I hope everyone has a great Christmas! I'm sure I'll have more stupid pet pictures to post soon! :) | | |
| I have a sweet new niece!! Welcome, Julietta Kait!! 8 pounds, 3.5 oz. I'll post pics as soon as I get one that's not on my camera phone. Soooo psyched!! :) | | |
